“For our wedding, we hired A Starry Night for both a string trio to start things off and a DJ to end the night. Carol and Marla were a delight to coordinate and plan both of these vital parts of our wedding with. They were very knowledgeable, flexible, and communicative. The Joe Deninson (the violinist who plays with “Kansas”) string trio sounded amazing, easily covered the specific songs we desired, and created a great selection of background music based on just a general vibe we wanted. By the end of their set, we wished they had stayed longer. DJ Marla was great once she took over the music. She wove together our long list of songs we had to hear with a bunch of other fantastic tracks that complemented the style/energy, and kept people dancing and having fun the whole night.”

“Carol was fantastic in every way! She did the music for our ceremony and reception. She helped us pick the right songs for our reception and when I look at the video, it just came out perfectly. She was a joy to work with leading up to the wedding as she will offer just the right amount of help. We were pulled in a million directions while planning our wedding and she was flexible and just plain helpful. I was nervous to hire a DJ rather than a band because I always fear the cheesy DJ but Carol was nothing like that. She announces the wedding party and then just plays fantastic music all night.
