Our DJ’s are established artists and very accomplished at their craft. All are creative, intuitive, have extensive knowledge, and ever-growing libraries of music of all genres. You are always in direct contact with the DJ of your choice. Your music is always respected and played.
It goes far beyond the music to give life and technicolor to your party. From the first moment of designing your dream to the very last song of the evening, we quietly work behind the scenes to ensure the flow of your event is perfect.
We speak Spanish and Portuguese
We represent some of the most accomplished and world acclaimed musicians of all types and genres. Some are Grammy-winning. They are among New York's finest artists: saxophone, percussion, electric violin, guitar, piano, string ensembles or soloists like harp, and horn sections - trumpet, trombone. Often, we combine these talented musicians with the DJ during the reception to create the Hybrid DJ/band to give extra spice to your dance floor.

“Carol was one of the recommended vendors through FEAST at Round Hill, and I reached out immediately when I saw that her tagline is “No cheese” - the last thing we wanted was a DJ that came with too many bells and whistles. Carol was amazing to work with; she is very sweet and knew our venue so well, as she is there almost every weekend. We worked together to come up with a perfect playlist for our music taste, as well as a timeline for all of the formalities throughout the night (speeches, dances, cake cutting, etc.).
She was a great master of ceremonies.
The dance floor was crowded all night,
I don’t think I left the dance floor for the remainder of the night! We also booked our ceremony/cocktail hour music through Carol. Her husband, Beledo, is a talented guitarist and pianist, and he played for both parts of the day. He was able to play all the music we requested for the ceremony, and during cocktail hour he played a mix of guitar and piano that was the perfect background.
My dad and I walked down the aisle to ‘Sea of Love’ by Cat Power, and it was one of my favorite moments of the entire day.”

“For our wedding, we hired A Starry Night for both a string trio to start things off and a DJ to end the night. Carol and Marla were a delight to coordinate and plan both of these vital parts of our wedding with. They were very knowledgeable, flexible, and communicative. The Joe Deninson string trio (he’s the electric violinist who plays with “Kansas”) sounded amazing, easily covered the specific songs we desired, and created a great selection of background music based on just a general vibe we wanted. By the end of their set, we wished they had stayed longer.
DJ Marla was great. She wove together our long list of songs we had to hear with a bunch of other fantastic tracks that complemented the style/energy, and kept people dancing and having fun the whole night.”
